Paleo Roasted Whole Chicken Recipe

This Paleo Roasted Whole Chicken is an easy and delicious meal for any occasion. The combination of herbs and spices adds flavor and moisture to the chicken. It is also high in protein and healthy fats, making it an excellent addition to any Paleo diet.

Ingredients

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Rinse and pat dry the chicken with paper towels.
  • Inside and out, rub olive oil all over the chicken.
  • In a small bowl, combine sea salt, black pepper, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and garlic powder.
  • Inside and out, rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken.
  • Roast the chicken for 10-15 minutes in a roasting pan.
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 375°F and continue roasting for 60-75 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Allow the chicken to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.
